Description:

This swap is for those of us that have a stash of lovely postcards that we send out - but we look at some of them and think "I'd love to have that one written and stamped for my collection"!

ONE postcard each to TWO partners.

So, three steps---

-- Pick out two cards from your unwritten stash that you'd love to have someone send you written and stamped.

-- Send each of your partners ONE postcard in an envie - make sure you include a note to say what swap this is for! You can even go ahead and put your name and address on it if you'd like - and even include postage IF YOU WANT (not required) but in case you want a certain stamp from your collection or something.

-- Once you receive the postcard from your partner, then write something interesting on the back, stamp it, and send it back to them!

Rating---

Since this is done out of the norm, the rating will come when you send your postcard in an envie to your partner and they receive it.

Getting it back written on will be done on the honor system. It would be great if when you receive your postcard back you could go to their profile and let them know you've received it - you can also let us know here you received it in a note on the swap if you'd rather!

Don't join if you can't meet the requirements. I will NOT be nice to those that do not return the postcards to their partners!!

Rules---

Due to the nature of this swap, I will only accept swappers with a 4.9 rating (NO 1's at ALL for any reason - sorry) - no newbies this time, sorry. I want to lessen the chance of flaking with the more in depth rules this requires. Newbie to me is someone that has no ratings yet, and has only a handful of swaps under their belt.

NOTE: Don't send a postcard you will be extremely upset if you lose, as we've had two major snafus during 20 of these swaps where someone did not get back the postcard and it was a rare postcard that they were very upset they lost.

I just wanted to say - including postage sure would be a nice thing to do but at least European countries do not accept foreign stamps on mail you want to send from your own country. I thought about joining this swap a few times now and every time wondered about that point :)

That's very true. It makes no sense to put postage on if you are sending to a foreign country. I only put stamps on when I'm sending to a USA address, hopefully people are logical enough to figure that out! Though postage isn't required by any means even if you are sending in your own country!

Alas, not everyone is logical enough to figure that out, druideye. :-)

A lot of postcards you buy in Canada have postage affixed already - so having someone send here from their region wouldn't work.
