Description:

How fun would it be to swap a charm each month to create & complete a beautiful bracelet by Dia de los Muertos (Nov. 1)? Not every future charm swap will be Frida, but may include catrinas, sugar skulls, Diego, other artists and Dia de los Muertos themes.

So...for this third in a series, we'll swap a catrina inspired charm. It can be any charm you want to create with this theme...you're only limited by your own imagination:) If you're not sure what a catrina is, just google the word to see some amazing inspiration!

FUN STUFF: Create something you would love to receive and be proud to add to your charm bracelet! If you know someone who is not a group member, but would enjoy this type of swap ask them to join our group:)

NOT SO FUN STUFF: Send on time and rate fairly

Ok, call me stupid but what is the difference between a sugar skull and a catrina? I looked up images and they look like sugar skulls to me? Or did I do the sugar skull swap wrong? LOL

You didn't do anything wrong...a a sugar skull is a highly decorated skull, whereas a catrina does have some of those features, but usually features some type of hat or headdress along with more of the torso or skeleton featured (not just a skull). They are based on the Mexican printmaker Posada's artwork.

Hope this helps...
