Cheerful Spring Chunky Book

Springtime - March, April and May - is the time of budding flowers, blossom on trees and the rebirth of the year. Days start to get a bit longer, and we get a little warmer and a bit more cheerful.

This swap is for a Fat/Chunky Book commemorating the season of Spring (with all due apology to anyone in the Southern hermisphere who have the season at the other end of the year). You will create a book with at least 10 pages (20 sides). It may include art, poetry, or prose about (or how you feel about) Spring.

The whole book should be decorated including both sides of the pages, and the back cover, although if you wish to leave the "back" sides without chunky embellishments that's fine. There should be at least 10 fully decorated sides. The books should be approximately 4" x 4" but you may make a larger book if you prefer. You can bind them any way you please. You should use paper that is very thick, or card between each page. Please make the books thick and full of embellishments, as the name suggests!

Rules:

• No newbies. These projects are pretty big commitments if you are going to do them justice, and this is the first full-book swap in the group. We strongly recommend that you have experience of chunky books already, which may be from a chunky page swap, or similar pre-SB, so that you appreciate what you are committing to.
• Rating of at least 4.85 with no recent no sends.
• International, 1 partner.
• Flakers will not be allowed to join any further group swaps until after they have made good on any swaps outstanding.
