JUNE Color-iffic Swap-o-rama (U.S. and Canada only

So what are the June colors? Are they also black, white and your choice of color?

This is the JUNE swap. The colors are RED and BLUE. Not that I meant to go with a patriotic theme. I was thinking more along the lines of aqua actually. But if you've started collecting things, I don't want to change it now!

I had to send my swap pretty early because late May is going to be haywire, and I'll be out of town. So, sorry if I'm too ahead of the game! I'll upload a photo soon....

I received a package from someone named Jessica today from New Jersey. I was just a little confused because there were yellow and orange things in it. I think my partner confused this swap with the colorrific international group from last month. Oh well, thanks Jessica, I still appreciate the thought!

What are the odds?? Eleanor Navarro got me for our very first swap ever - notecards - and then she got me again for this one. I got a package full of fun from her - notepads, pop rocks, a beautiful handmade picture of a bird on plywood, a funky tape dispenser, bunny punch, notecards, envelopes, lollipops and more. . . I'll upload a pic. Thanks for fun. You can't imagine how awful my day had been and how much I needed to get that package in the mail!!! Wonderful!

SO, I noticed there were a few not sent in the list of partners.. and I have still not received anything... is there rules to these type of things? so that everyone gets present in the end?

I haven't recieved yet either.

SO what happens to those of us who didnt get anything? does this mean we are screwed out of a gift?

This was my first swap, and I was very excited about having a partner.. I am very disappointed that I have not gotten a present and its already the 15!! (10 days past the deadline)

I don't think I'm getting anything either, since my partner's profile says that he or she never sends anything in any of the swaps... in addition, it was my first swap too! But I did a less costly swap with postcards and I already got 2 out of the 3 in the mail! :)

I started my own swap, and also joined another swap.. I hope that I have better luck on those.

My partner's profile also has lots of 1s for not sending anything to anyone... I guess I just dont understand as to why they would even join if they are gonna make someone else sad and feel left out??

Hello everyone. Sorry for any problems receiving. I've contacted those who have not sent their swaps. It's always disappointing to not receive something. I know from first hand experience. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to be a "swap fairy" and make a small package so those who didn't receive anything can at least get a small package.

it's unfortunate that someone else will have to pick up the slack of those people who decide to receive but not send out a package.. I would think that if people are gonna be lame about not sending something to someone, they should not feel good about receiving a present. they should forward what they got to the person they screwed over.

sorry, I guess I am a bit bitter an angry about my first experience with a partner that sucked and didnt even have the courtesy to even send an email of apology.

Sorry to all those disappointed. I will not be organizing any more swaps. There are too many people dissappointed with the way I have chosen to run swaps (but have not taken the time to organze thier own). Too many people mad at me for not making their partner cooperate when I have no way of knowing who their partner even is. Too many people not being responsible enough to send a package when someone is workng so hard and putting so much thought into theirs. I have been in five swaps ad only recieved two packages. Then if you ban people for bad ratings, they send you nasty emails and tell you what a horrible person you are. I am over it. The benefits are not worth the struggles.I hate to have to say this, but after this swap, I will not be organizing any more swaps. It's unfortunate that things like this happen. I recently finished my own swap and I noticed 2 people didnt follow thru.. so yes.. it is frustrating and unfair to those who make an effort to get something cool for their partners.

I still never got anythingt from my partner in this swap.. and it's really sad that some people seem to mooch and not give as well.
