Description:

For this swap you will make one card for your partner. This swap entails making one bear using mulberry paper and tearing it to make the bear shapes. This type of paper allows you to make the edges fluff and appear more realistic fur type bears. To do this you will need a wire brush or very very firm toothbrush. I have also used an abrasive nail file too which can do the same affect. You can go to:

This site will allow you some great ideas and show you how it is done. This is a beginners to intermediate swap as I am beginning myself too. Most important thing is to have fun and laugh with this swap.

Please include an envelop with your bear card.

Message me if you have any questions.

Have fun, Linda

does this card have to be a bear?

I have patterns for other critters like pigs, cows, chicks, and zoo animals can I use one of them if I wish?

Hello everyone - the card does have to be in the shap of a bear; however, it needs to have a bear on the front somewhere. It can be just a bear head, paws and feet with clothing on.

Yes, for this swap it is only a bear. But I would love to see a tear swap up for other critters. Especially chicks. How fun. Please share Namabear.

Sorry I will have to back out of this cute swap for now. I have a small family emergency to take care of and wont be back until mid May.
