Greetings my lovely ducks! Clearly our group likes papercrafting. And we trade kits. And honestly? I can't remember the last time I sat down to work on an album. I'm got a couple huge ones (like, my entire childhood) in various states. But I'm jonesing for some motivation. So how about we make some mini albums? I've included some ideas below, but really this is sender's choice. The album should be a minimum of 3 by 3 inches, but at maximum 8 by 8 inches. It should be 8 to 10 pages long, and include a sturdy cover. Try to keep the pages blank; personally, I love decorated pages, but it can be hard to include mementos in a pre-decorated album. However, if you want to include emphera that's cool, but not neccessary. Here is some inspiriation, and if you have any questions, either PM me or write below. Enjoy! See if I have this right...Decorated outer covers and when you say blank pages, can they be card stock.

card stock is preferred, but if you're feeling crafty, anything card stock weight (20#) is good. for example, thin chip board would be good.

Are we making a kit
* sending material that the recipient puts together to create the album

or an album
* sending a book that is already put together and the person just add picts etc

An album that is already put together that the recipient can further decorate and add photos/ephemera to.

This swap looks AMAZING! I'll have to watch this one for now because our financial situation suddenly became tight... well no, more like it got hanged. I would love to join another swap like this if you host one in the next couple of months!!!!
