This is the continuation of the Jesse Tree ATCs. I have a make-up swap for those that would like to catch up as well.

For those that don't know what I am talking about, the Jesse Tree is a tree decorated with symbols of Jesus' heritage. It starts from Adam and Eve and goes down the line until you get to Jesus. Different Jesse Trees can be from 12 to 25 ornaments and some end with varying titles of Jesus instead of just one. I would like to do a people based instead of title based one.

I started the swap knowing that they would not be done in time for Christmas 2011 but it would be nice to have them ready for next year or even for teaching and display during the year.

The fourteenth ATC swap will be Solomon and his symbol is either the scales of Justice or a Temple. Please include at least one of these symbols on the ATC and write Solomon on the back.

I will angel if needed.

just curious, how do you come up with the symbols? are they written somewhere in particular, or did you think them up? I have a lot of mental images concerning Solomon, but oddly those (while completely correct) didn't occur to me til you said them... (and would alter my atc considerably).

Sorry Dreamerkins for taking so long I just saw your comment. I found a list and the symbols in various places online. Some have more than one symbol and others it seems have just one. Like Noah always shows up with either a rainbow, an ark or both and Jesse is either Sttump or a crimson coat but Jacob is always a ladder. I do think there are some people that make up symbols that they like better but I am not too sure.

For these swaps I have been using what I use in class on this website if you are wanting to make ahead.
