National Symbols Swap No. 1: Flags

The origin of a country's flag can reveal a lot about that country's history! Send something of your country's flag (a postcard, magnet, pin, patch, ATC, mini fabric flag, etc) and include some explanation as to how the design came to be. Do not just send a printout or cutout of your flag, it does not have to be purchased but make it something souvenir-worthy, something you would like to receive!

Be sure to mail your flag securely! At least use a thick envelope if your flag isn't just made out of paper... your mail is travelling across the globe and it has to endure a lot! ;) Remember to allow 2-3 weeks for international mail.

To USA Swappers - if your partner is also from the USA, you have the option of sending our red, white & blue OR sending your state flag! I know this is specifically for worldwide swaps but for now I would like to leave it open to everyone.

Newbies welcome with a detailed profile (at my discretion). NO unresolved 1s or 3s in the last 6 months. I will be checking... ;)
