Description: | |
Create 1 ATC featuring one or more fruits or veggies for 1 partner. This is international since it's only 1 ATC, you should be able to mail it relatively inexpensively. You can use any technique (except digital or photocopies - but digital or photocopied elements are ok), so long as it is nice and neat and something you would enjoy receiving. It cannot just be a picture cut from a magazine or a sticker or two on a card. Using images is fine, but then you need to add your own flair and make it yours - for example using an image in a collage or with other papers and/or embellishments is fine, but don't just cut out an image and think you're done. An ATC is an Artist Trading Card - so it should look like you put some effort and consideration into into its creation. The size must be 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches and embellishments are encouraged. Embellishments do not have to be heavy or even 3D - they just have to give the ATC a little something extra! The picture shown is an ATC made by me recently for a swap (not this one), it features stamped images/words that were colored in with pastels blended with gamsol (radishes) or markers (bottom border image). It also has two layers of cardstock, ink edging, pop dots, glitter glue applied with a toothpick, and mulberry paper. The stamped images are from 3 different stamp sets/companies. You don't have to like my ATC, and your ATC doesn't have to look like my ATC, but when you're done creating it, you should love the results. I was happy with the way this one looked in it's final version and there were many versions I started making and didn't like along the way, so I just kept trying different things. I am allowing new members to join, but I will review profiles before assigning partners and anyone's profile (new or longer term) that seems odd or has comments about being late a lot or that seems like they might be a flaker will be cut. Please remember to allow extra delivery time if you get an international partner (not decided by me - the system decides) before saying it hasn't arrived if the person says they sent on time. If you do have problems, please try to contact your partner and let me know. Thank you! I am hoping it won't be necessary, but I will angel if needed. If you already know that you cannot make it to the Post Office on or before 6/15/12, please do not sign up for this swap. If all goes well, I will likely host it again in the future and/or I am willing to do private swaps if you are interested and can't work with this time frame. |
