Description:

I love snuggling up and loosing myself in a good book and I'm sure many of you feel the same and that's where this swap came to mind.

You will send your partner one (or more if you wish) book based on their wishlist or profile info. Please make sure you have information on the kind of books you like on your profile if you join this swap to help your partner out! The book should be in English unless your partner is happy to receive one in a different language.

I'm making this swap international this time round, I know postage can be expensive for heavy items but hopefully it shouldn't be too bad for a book! (Let me know what you think about this.)

Books can be second hand as long as they are in really good and readable condition.

Newbies welcome. No recent unexplained 1s.

Happy Swapping! :)

Curious if there is a language requirement? I'd like to join, but with it being an international swap, I'm concerned about getting a book in a language I don't read. (or sending one for that matter...) Also, since you asked, I've sent books overseas for an average of $7-$8 per book. Without a guarantee that I'm getting a book in English, I'd be hesitant to spend this much.

on watch list until the date gets closer. personally, i would love a book in another language. it would be interesting, and i'll eventually learn to read it

Hmmm I have updated requirements to English books as its universal and I assume most people will want English written books. It's of course between partners to discuss if they wouldn't mind a book in a different language Etc.

As I tell in my profile, I'd be happy swapping books so... I'll join for sure!

This sounds interesting, but I tried sending out a package for a swap that was going to cost $50 to send. I went home and changed it and it was only $30!! I think I have to pass on this swap, but I am intrigued!

In no way should a book cost $30-$50 to send internationally. Something isn't right there, unless it's a crazy express/tracked delivery) For those in America USPS First Class shipping is the cheapest way to send abroad (note, it does not include tracking).

I'd be interested if you ever make a usa/canada swap like this!
