National Symbols Swap No. 2: Birds

Most countries have a national bird! National birds often represent an ideal or pride in your geography and local fauna. ;)

Send something of your country's bird (a postcard, magnet, pin, patch, ATC, mini fabric flag, etc) and include some explanation as to why that bird was chosen... Do not just send a printout or cutout of your country's bird. It does not have to be purchased but make it something souvenir-worthy, something you would like to receive! (I bumped this up to a Type 3 because I would imagine some putting a lot of effort into it).

Be sure to mail your bird securely! Your mail is travelling across the globe and it has to endure a lot! ;) Remember to allow 2-3 weeks for international mail.

To USA Swappers - if your partner is also from the USA, you have the option of sending a Bald Eagle OR sending your state bird!
