Description:

Recently I have been printing my own 3.50" x 2.0" swap cards. I have been using an avery template. I stumbled across this idea after buying some actual avery card paper that you print and punch out, but you can do it on plain cardstock as well. Printing your partners name and address along with their user name, but leaving room for them to write in a swap name would be neat, as well as printing a picture or design on them. ALso checking their profile to make the cards unique to them would be nice. The size template that I have been using prints out 8 cards per sheet of cardstock I think it is. These do not have to be that exact size, but should look like about business card size when you get finished. For this swap we will try 3 sheets of these. "If" you have trouble cutting straight, and are printing on solid cardstock you can put a frame around them, which gives you lines to guide you while cutting them out. And if you do not want the mail piece to be thicker than a 1/4" once you prepare it for mail, you can just cut the card stocks in half or quarters to fit the envelope and let your partner cut their own out. :) Newbies MUST have profiles that are filled out and recent logins. Others, please do not join with recent double or multiple 1 and/or 3 ratings. 4.9 overall rating score is a guidline I use while checking over the participant lists.

The actual blank avery ones that you buy and punch out are 10 to a page 2" x 3 1/2" and use the Avery Template 8371.

I love the avery blanks too, they are easy to tear off from the tabs and no cutting involved, lol The card stock ones are prolly cheaper though. :)

I like to use the cardstock, then cut apart with decorative scissors.

I make my hubby's business cards with them. They are so nice and I have made my own little swap cards like the one a pal sent me. Its very handy and they are keepers.
