"Lucky" Friendship bracelets

This swap is sender's choice. That being said, you are more than welcome to take your partner's profile into consideration. Some time and thought should be put into making your bracelets. Friendship bracelets are all about fun, friends, and good wishes!!!!!

-For this swap you will make one woven/knotted friendship bracelet. Bracelets should be made out of an embroidery thread such as DMC brand, or out of a thin cording such as crochet string.

-Bracelets should include at least 3 colors, however more is acceptable. Consider adding colors based on their symbolic meanings, suck as green for luck in money matters. For more ideas try here:

-Include a "good luck" charm of some sort attached to your bracelet. These can be added by sewing them on to the finished bracelet, by jump rings, or by being knotted into the ties. Be creative in your application! The charms can be something generic like a four leaf clover or an evil eye. They can also be animal based, such as an owl charm to represent wisdom. -In your package to your partner please include a little note explaining your color and charm choices and their meanings.

Consider also backing your bracelets with fabric, leather, etc. Although this is not required.

In the comments section, feel free to state wrist size and tie size preference. If no preference is stated, I believe six inches of woven bracelet, plus 3-4 inches of tie is pretty standard....but please correct me if I am wrong.

Their is no ratings requirements, but I will check up on participants for recent 1 and 3 ratings, as well as questionable swap history. Newbies are welcome. Friendship bracelets are fairly quick, however I am asking participants to put time, effort, thought into creating something special for another person. I have allotted 2 weeks for bracelet construction, swapping will begin on Friday the 13th (I know, right?!?).
