This is like an I spy and scavenger hunt but in one swap. You will go to a thrift store or garage sale and hunt for a sea creature for your partner. Make sure it is something that lives in the water like a dolphin, fish, or octopus, not something that enjoys the water like a penguin or polar bear.

There is no price set on this find. SENDERS CHOICE. If you would like you could find two sea creature items but not a requirement. You can shop now or wait to see who you get.

4.95 rate with no recent 3's or 1's. Newbies need to have three type 2 or two type 3. Sorry so strict but I don't want to have to angel since it is a type 3.

This is awful!! I've been to 3 thrift stores in my area and several garage sales and NO ONE has anything with sea creatures!! (Well, there WAS a dolfin pic but it was HUGE and would have cost a fortune to send!!)

I'll keep looking......ans still watching!

i know that looking - when you are really looking for something specific like this the item will not pop up until you are not looking anymore - so I continue the search - nothing large but something interesting then I can join

Went to Goodwill and they didn't have anything, but a dolphin figurine that was missing the fins off the dolphins. Ug, awhile ago thing to use for this swap was everywhere!

What is Listia? If you want too. It would still be thrifting, right, but online instead:) I thrift on www.swap.com. I Trade my treasures I don't want for treasures I do want.

Listia works the same way...almost. You "sell" items for credits, then you "buy" things with the credits. I tried swap.com, but like Listia better. If interested in joining there PM me and I'll give you a referral code.

I have found all kinds of sea creatures, from se lions to mermaids to fish (dishes, cheese spreaders, windchimes, tshirts, etc), to crab serving pieces and mugs, lobster themed socks, seshorsed, etc, etc...enemy.starfish and sand dollars ..I wish I could send some along to everyone else!!! We have an overabundance here@_

@Lady You have 3 wks after sign up to find something and send it out. You don't think you would be able to hunt something down. You can try thrift store, garage sale, auction, online sites as long as the item is used.
