newbie and non artist ATC #3

Thank you to all the people who joined #1 and #2. I am going to continue with these swaps as long as there is an interest. Sign up times are going to be a bit quicker so you can start making yours now.

Explanation of swap stays the same.

Have you ever spent time and effort to make your ATC only to receive an ATC from your partner that put yours to shame? Have you ever felt like stopping to make ATCs because you don't think you can make yours to the caliber of others? Ever send an ATC and when you receive your partners you wish your name would fall off the one you sent? Have never made an ATC before? This swap is for you. I want to make this swap where you do not have to be under stress to make a picture perfect one. Now of course that does not mean you don't put time and effort into it. Here is a chance to practice making ATCs and to perfect your style. Very simple rules, make the ATC standard size. 2.5 x 3.5, Medium and theme is up to the maker. . Stickers are very much permitted if you can incorporate it into the theme but no sticker slapping. In other words you must do more than put stickers on a backing. Make it look like an ATC you would want to receive. Don't forget to recycle those items you already have around the house, magazines, junk mail, catalogs, food containers ext. I've received some very nice ATC with out expensive do dads from craft stores.

If your ATC can be sold at an art auction you are still welcome to join but remember your partner may be a newbie. Don't complain about their work unless it is very obvious they put no time into it.

I will be checking profiles and no unexplained 1s or 3s. Having a 1 or 3 does not automatically ban you. Stuff happens, I know, I have a 1 because the person didn't bother to email me first. I personally feel this is rude. When there is a pattern, is when it becomes an issue. I will ban anyone I feel could be a risk and that does not necessarily mean only having 1 and 3s, We all know life happens so if for whatever reason you cannot full fill your obligation email your partner I feel that is only common courtesy. DON"T FLAKE, you will be rated a 1 without hesitation, I will be glad to angle if life slaps you in the face. Email me if you have any questions or problems.
