Description:

I have always loved Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. The villain, Count Olaf, was not only sinister and purely evil, but he also offered much comedic relief through his various disguises. I thought it would be fun to do a swap called The Many Faces of Count Olaf.

For this swap you will be making one ATC for one partner. The ATC should feature Count Olaf in one of his many disguises. Your ATC must be hand drawn or hand painted. It’s about how much effort you put into it.

Examples:

  • Stephano: an assistant herpetologist, he had a long beard, shaved head, and no eyebrows
  • Captain Julio Sham: he was a sailor, he had an eye patch and a wooden leg
  • Shirley T. Sinoit-Pécer: an optometrist's female receptionist
  • Coach Genghis: he was a gym coach, he wore a turban that covered his eyebrow, and running shoes that covered his tattoo of an eye on his ankle
  • Gunther: he was an auctioneer in a pinstripe-suit in this disguise, he pretends to be from a foreign country so people will believe that he doesn't speak fluent English
  • Detective Dupin: in this disguise he dresses up as a "cool" detective, he wears huge sunglasses that cover up his eyebrow, and green plastic shoes with yellow lightning bolts on the sides to cover up his tattoo
  • Kit Snicket: in this disguise he dresses up as a pregnant Kit Snicket, he had a seaweed wig, and a dress with a helmet underneath used to disguise the false baby

This is a strictly hand drawn or hand painted swap. No stickers or print outs will be allowed. If the ATC is not hand drawn or hand painted, the recipient has the right to rate down. ATCs should be the standard 2.5x3.5 in. on a sturdy paper, cardstock, etc. And don’t forget to include your information on the back! (Artist, title, medium, etc...you know the drill)

While newbies and unrated swappers are allowed, I will check to make sure profiles are well filled out. No unexplained 1s or 3s. Flakers will not be tolerated. :/ Please use messages to work out any communication/swap problems before going straight to me. If it cannot be resolved between the two people, then contact me and we can try to work it out. I'll angel if necessary.

I reserve the right to ban any swappers who do not meet these requirements. It is not personal, but is instead to ensure the safe-swapping of the participants involved.

Happy Swapping!

I'm surprised! This is one of my favorite kid series. Depending on how well this goes, maybe there can be more in the future! :D

Then I guess I'll do two. One stinky one and one amazing one. I'm doing the amazing one first.
