A Swap For Poetry Lovers

For this swap each person will have two partners. You will send each partner 2 things.

The first thing is a copy of a published poem that you want to share. Preferably the copy should be typed or photocopied from a book or other publication, but it can be handwritten as long as it is clearly legible and retains the original format. If the poem is not in English (or your partner's native language) please include a translation.

The second thing is a note from you about the poem and why you chose that particular poem to share. What do you like about it? What does it make you think of? What does it mean to you? You do not have to write an essay, but include something thoughtful.

The idea is to expose yourself to something you may not typically gravitate towards (or perhaps you will gain a new perspective on one of your old favorites!)

Please remember you may receive something that is outside of your typical taste, please do not rate down if you do not like the poem that is sent to you.

Requirements: -4.9 rating with no recent ones (newbies welcome with a well filled out profile.) -no late or unfullfilled swaps when I assign partners and -you must have recent activity on your account within 1 week of the signup deadline
