Recipe Book Swap #16

If this is your first round you will purchase or otherwise obtain a standard sized COMPOSITION BOOK, and decorate it or cover it if you like.

There has apparently been confusion as to what a standard composition book is in previous rounds of this swap. A composition book is a 8"x10" notebook with a tape-style binding and a hard back. Many of them have black and white marble-looking covers. They do not have spiral bindings, they are not terribly bendable. This similarity in shape, size, and weight helps keeps the postage costs the same for everyone.

For the newbies: On the first page write your name and the swap name. In the back write your address and a note to return the journal home to you when it is full.

For everyone else, please make sure this information is IN your book. It's harder to return it to you if it's not.

Include a short little letter to your partner saying why you chose that recipe on a separate sheet of paper, and then mail off to your partner.

Next month in a separate swap you will take that journal you received and write two recipes and pass it on. We will keep going as long as there is interest. Please only put in realistic and usable recipes, the point is for people to find cool new recipes to try out.

When you get your partner's book, send them a PM to let them know who has it. While it's going to be obvious for this round, in later rounds it will not be.

The minimum requirement is a 4.75 rating and no 3s or 1s in the last 3 months.

Partners will be assigned on 8/16 and recipes must be mailed by 8/31. You will have one partner. Any questions or concerns? Let me know!
