Description:

For this swap we will create a Craft Kit for our 1 partner - The idea is that the kit will contain as many items as possible needed to make 1 chosen craft.

For example - If you enjoy knitting you could send your partner some knitting needles, wool, scissors, a pattern sheet, and some instructions/hints and tips.

Personally I love to make mini books. So in my kit there will be book board, papers, fabric, thread, book corners and instructions ect.

I think we should all assume that our partner is new to the craft we choose. So start with the basics, unless stated otherwise on your partners profile :)

So we will send-

  • A minimum of 5 items related to a particular craft -although can be less if an item is large/in a large quantity of, for example a ball of wool could be classed as 2 items, and a bag of around 5 buttons classed as 1 item.

  • Instructions on how to make the craft (preferably hand written)

  • Anything else we would like to send in relation to our chosen craft.

No recent 1's or 3's please, unless there is a good reason (pm me) Minimum rating of 4.8, newbies allowed but must have a well filled out profile. I can angel if needed, although hopefully I wont need to.

Have fun, and make a kit you are proud of :) x

Do we need to send a sample of finished craft?

izibella 08/23/2012 #

@rtwong Thanks,Hope some members can join :)

@MichelleWilow Good question! I would say no, you don't need to send a sample, although by all means do send one, if possible. A picture (either photo or drawn) of the finished craft would be a good idea, but this is optional too. Hope that helps :)

OK. Although I will probably. Think that people are more willing to try things out for 1st time if they can actually see and hold an item in their hands. ;)
