US POSTAGE INCREASE EFFECTIVE JAN 27, 2013

* US International Rate (for both postcards and letters) - $1.10. An international $1.10 "Forever" stamp will be available for mailing anywhere in the world.

If you don't have a fountain pen, maybe this is your incentive to try one. Inexpensive fountain pens are available. Pilot Varsity pens can be had for a few dollars at some of the major US office supply stores or on eBay. Some Targets carry the Pilot Plumix for about $7. JetPens.com has Pilot Petits and Platinum Preppys for under $4, in addition to many other great deals on ink, paper, and other stationery supplies (and free shipping on orders over $25).

If you have any questions, please PM me - I don't always get back to check the comments.

Some Housekeeping Info

Firstly, thanks so much for joining my swaps, people. It's a lot fun for me. They've grown in size to the point where I need to take some steps to control the amount of time that it takes to manage them.

  • Communicate Communicate Communicate I won't be checking to see who's naughty and who's nice. I'm counting on you to let me know about any problems. If you have a question or problem, please let your partner know and give them a chance to respond. If can't resolve the issue, then let me know and I'll do what I can to help work it out.

  • Senders Please send your items on time and remember to mark your swap as "sent". Please let your partner know if you are going to send late. Many swappers won't mind a bit of delay as long as keep people informed. Before assigning partners for future swaps, I will remove anyone has not marked an item "sent" for a previous swap. If you want to be in the next swap, then send your items and mark them as sent.

  • Recipients If you haven't received anything a week or two after the swap deadline, please let your partner know. If you still don't receive an item (or a satisfactory response), leave a "1" rating then contact me to send an angel replacement. I will angel only if you rate the swap appropriately. Accurate ratings are the only way I can weed out unreliable senders from future swaps. And that's good for everyone.

For those who don't have a fountain pen, I found a really inexpensive place to get them online (JetPens.com) <---I have no affiliation and am not trying to be a commercial for them, I just have used them in the past and they have a great selection of fountain pens.

I've also tried lots of different types of inks, from cartridges to inkwell/dip pens- right now I'm testing inks from "Noodlers" in a few of my binding projects.

On a side note, I'd love to hear what fountain pens people like or have found work well....
