Description:

Share the holiday season! Let's create a smash journal to share!

When you sign up:

1.Make sure the text of your profile contains at least ten items/images that you like. I will contact you if your profile needs to be expanded.

2.In the comment section below,Please list your favorite images for Christmas.

Then: 1.Get a composition book - the type that Wal-Mart sells for 50 cents. Tie a ribbon or something similar around the middle of the book to reinforce the stitching. Before you send it to your partner, decorate the cover to reflect your partner's interests.

2.Study your partner's profile and list of holiday likes below and collect items to add to the journal. You will create at least 30 pages of goodies. You can add stickers, photos, clippings from magazines or brochures, napkins, card fronts, postcards, any paper items, decorated paper clips, etc. Items can be placed in pockets, attached to the pages, etc. You can be as creative as you like.

3..Please attach items to one side of the page only, so that your partner can move them elsewhere if they choose.

4.This swap should cost very little. Keep your eyes open for bits and pieces you can use. For example, if your partner like ghosts, save that decorated candy wrapper to glue into the journal you are working on.

Swap requirements:

You'll need to have a rating of 4.90 or better and a well filled-out profile so that your partners will have an idea of what you'd like.

Newbies are welcome with a completed profile. No recent or unexplained 1s or 3s. No flakers. Please PM me if you have questions.

This one is limited to the U.S. due to postage costs.

I will angel if needed.

so you actually glue down the items? if not how do we attach them or just send them with the item? just a little confused

Shanna1717 10/29/2012 #

You may glue the items to one side of each page. Please leave the back side empty in case your partner would like to rearrange the journal or add his/her touch to the journal.

You can also use paper clips or whatever you like to decorate the pages.

You can Google smash journals/junk journals/art type journals for visual examples!

I hope that you will join us!

HI! I love almost anything to do with Christmas. I love the nativity, mangers, Mary and baby Jesus, Three wise men, the star, churches in the snow, my favorite Christmas movies are Elf, Muppets Christmas Carol, Christmas With The Kranks, Home Alone 1 & 2, Charlie Brown's Christmas, and several others. i also love images off of wrapping paper, or even gift tags! Really not too picky on this one. Have fun!
