Description:

Hello there again. I know it seems like I just posted the November FQ surprise Swap.....because I just did! I thought I might give people extra time to prepare for this one as I know in my area, this fabric is hard to come by. For the month of December, the theme for the surprise FQ will be Cute Japanese Prints. You know the ones I mean!! They are so super duper nauseatingly cute. If you don't know what I mean, have a look at the links below......just so it's clear. This is an international Swap so be prepared to send internationally. Put together a super package for your partner which will include:

  • One cotton FQ in a super sweet Japanese print
  • A lovely little note to your partner
  • Two other surprise items (totally up to you)

Some Links to check out...

A google search on cute or kawaii Japanese fabrics should help as well.

As this swap is completely senders choice, you may begin to assemble your swap as soon as you sign up. You may find your fabric from your stash, in your local shops, or order online. If ordering online, you may have the order sent directly to your swap partner so as not to duplicate shipping charges. If you choose to have your online order shipped directly to your partner, you may want to have the remainder of the swap be able to be mailed in a card so as minimize shipping. In that case, think flat and light like patterns, transfers, book marks, stationery, favourite recipes etc.

Details: If you will be late to send out your swap, please let your partner know. Life happens sometimes, and communication is key to avoiding any misunderstandings. Please remember to mark you swap sent only after you have dropped it in the post box or at the post office.

Ratings: If you receive all of the items listed in the swap description, and the swap was sent out on time, you must rate a 5. You have the option of rating with a heart if you feel the swap was above and beyond the basic swap requirements. This means means different things to different people...but this rating is at your discretion. If you feel the need to rate a partner with a 3 (swap did not meet requirements) or a 1 (I didn't get anything) please contact you partner to let them know and give them the opportunity to fix the situation.
