Description:

Since so many people signed up for the first go-round I decided to set up a 41’ swap 2.0 and now a 3.0!!!

So, all of us who are paper people have interesting bits and pieces in our stash and this swap will move them around a little. The idea is to use a number 10 envelope (or similar) and fill it up - about an ounce - so it will only need a single 41’ stamp. They can be any size - unfolded please - and a variety of patterned papers... just keep it to a single envelope and a single stamp.

You should not purchase anything new but try to make it as nice a variety of scraps that you would be happy to receive it.

This will be a US only swap since this is about a cheap quick and dirty single first class stamp swap... and is open to everyone... for new people, please just have your profile fully filled out. I do reserve the right to ban people who have had no-sends or look potentially problematic.

Paper that is not acceptable: wrapping paper, newspaper, paper that is all wrinkled up -- send something people can not only use and would be excited to get but also that are things you would be excited to get.

I just bought some lovely new papers today! I can't wait to share them in these swaps!! Thanks for hosting such a great idea!

I love being able to share my scrapbook papers. I have some very unusual and good looking wallpaper. Could I use some of that, if it was cut down to appropriate sizes to mail?

angie - Not sure if it's allowed, but if I'm your partner I'd be happy to receive wallpaper! :)

Thanks Jaziyn, I will do that if I get you as a partner.

well, I don't want to get to restrictive for people but if you are going to send a lot of these kinds of pieces I would suggest you PM your people. One of mine from a previous swap had several of these pieces in it and while I did not rate them less for it, they ended up in the trash as they were not of any use to me. Had I gotten a whole envelope full of it I would have been very disapointed.

Loved all the goodies I got from the 2nd paper scrap swap, so I'm looking forward to this. :)

I'm excited for this swap, since I have tons of scrap paper I hate to throw away. One question though, is the #10 Envelope the long one?

Anxious to know who Im sending to cause this is my first swap since coming back on this website... Mine to are ready to go, after I add a few finishing touches based on my potential partnrs profile.

sarastar 04/12/2008 #

soo what's happening? shouldn't we have our partners now? ^__^

havehope76 04/12/2008 #

Im wondering the same thing. I think the host (person who started the swap) has to do something make the site generate the partners and if they dont after 3 day, it does it for them. Im ready to go though maybe a lil too anxious but thats based on excitiment!!!
