Description:

Round 3! You do not necc have to have been in round 1 to join this swap. If this is your first round, create your journal and send that to your partner. If you did the previous round, fill your prompt envelope, do your bio, and make your prompt!

Okay so this is a shared journal! I am sure you have seen them before but here is a bit about what a shared journal is.

You create a journal in the theme of the swap and send it to your partner. Then on round 2, they send YOUR journal to their partner. so it gets passed away until it is full!

For this version of the Shared Journal....you will take a sturdy journal. I find the cow print composition type journals work great.

You will decorate the covers. This means MORE than just slapping 1 or 2 stickers on it or writing Shared Journal Pocketbook on it. Decorate the fronts and backs of both covers. It is not that hard.

The first thing you will do is create a small pocket and include your name, address and email. This is in case your journal ends up with someone who later decides to quit the rounds. The email is in case you move between now and the end of the journals.

The next thing you will include is a bio page. This should include your screen name of course and 1-2 pages about you, your thoughts, etc. Maybe even why you decided to join this swap?

Next...for this version of the Shared Journal...you will create a pocket. It is easiest to use a regular sized envelope. About 5 inches long by 3 inches.

At the end of your page, include a prompt of sorts. Write 1 thing the next person should try to include. Something random! For example you could write "Include a star" or 'Include money" and the next person could a star sticker or a quarter. Or a star stamper and some Monopoly money!

The person who RECEIVES will add the pocket and fill it with small profile goodies. Things that would fit into a regular sized envelope. You will then SEAL it. Decorate the page that has the pocket with doodles or stickers.

So this is how the layout will look : Address page, Maker's Bio, Maker's Prompt, Receiver 1's Bio, Receiver 1's Pocket, Receiver 1's Prompt...on and on.

I hope this makes sense!
