Description:

This one is easy. Recently, a swap partner from my own state mentioned that she didn't know where my city was located in our state. I thought it would be fun to show your partner where you live on the map by making some kind of mark. You choose, arrow, sharpie, sticker, etc........show where you live and on the other side write a line or two about your location.

This swap will be International so we can see all the beautiful locations around the world!

You will have three partners and newbies are welcome!!!

Can the postcard be home made or does it have to be purchased?

I am not too excited about sending naked cards, after the one swap I was in. Cards come in scratched, ripped, one came in mangled. Is there a way to avoid this? I mean, it would be nice to get a postcard with a map from the state of XX, postmarked in State of XX, but in the condition they come in, I am not excited at all about that. What I used to do, is I would go to post office and add a 1c, 2c, or 3c stamp on the card and ask PO clerk to hand stamp it, and then I would send it in the envelope (usually, I would send 4-5 to a partner in one envelop). THat way, the card is "postmarked", with a stamp and in pristine condition. But now, with those conveyor-style sorting belts/machines, it is a real detraction from sending cards naked through the mail.

Any other ideas on making sure the cards are in better condition when you send them naked?

You can send you're card in a envelope and you can write the reason there for on you're profile!

I will send my cards written and stamped but If possible, I prefer that my card is sent unwritten and in an envelope please. Because written and stamped cards arrive here mostly dirty, damaged or bent. Thanks.
