Round 1 of the Traveling Photo Journal swap. I plan on doing this swap monthly and please donâ€™t sign up if you canâ€™t commit to such a requirement. Itâ€™s not fair to the other participants. I understand life happens, but please let your partner know if youâ€™re going to be late sending this swap.IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST ROUND: You will buy a journal, notebook, comp book anything with at least 80 pages. On the cover write what this journal is for. Then you will write a short Bio about yourself (1-2 pages) and include a photo of yourself. Then on the next page you will include a photo of anything you wantâ€¦ your family, friends, favorite vacation, hobbies, your hometown, your pets, your school, really whatever sort of photo you want then you will write about why your including this photo. Then you will do the same thing on the next page; include a photo and why itâ€™s important to you. Then you will leave a prompt for your partner on what kind of photo they should add to the journal. Then send it to your partner. Be sure to include your address on the last page so we know where to send the Journal home to when itâ€™s full. So all together you will have added 3 photos and a prompt. IF THIS IS YOUR SECOND or Third ROUND: You should have received a Journal from your partner (Be sure you rated them) You will answer their prompt and include a photo for the prompt. Then you will write a bio about yourself with a photo. Then include one more photo and why itâ€™s important to you or what it means to you, etc. Then leave a prompt for your next partner. So for this round you will have added 3 photos. Please put your given name and address in the back of the book along with your swap name so we will know where it will go home at the end of the swap. I will check ratings if you have below a 5.0. No 1's this year. 3's I will check and decide to ban or not. This is a USA swap only due to shipping costs.. Have fun and Happy swapping!! If you were a no-send last time you will be banned from this swap! The pictures DO NOT have to be on photo paper, you can gladly print them off your computer on normal computer paper as long as itâ€™s a visible photo.

I have a couple of questions...

1 So, every round you will create a swap and we sign up? What if we get assigned a partner more than once? How when we know when you create another Traveling Photo Journal swap?

2 Can I include my address labels with the journal that way everytime my journal get's sent out my return address can be put on it instead of the partner sending it that way if something goes wrong it will come to me instead of the partner who sent it?

Oops .. missed the 1st round .... I'll be starting with a new journal since I've never gotten my original journal back (yet!!) from the previous swap! :-(

Yes, sometimes you get the same journal. It happens in some of the swaps because the same folks sign up for them. Just answer your prompt, add in the other bits and send along in the next round.

And no, you can't have it returned to you each round. That would mean double sending for you each time. You just have to have faith that it will be returned to you. I just got mine returned from the first set of these swaps and I'm thrilled. But in some other journal swaps, I'm not sure mine is even being circulated. I hope over the long weekend I can track it down.

I'm getting mine finished up. I've been busy but I'm getting it done. I'm also including my email address. I'm having fun with my journal. I even decorated the outside cover.
