First letter will be going out in the morning.

Second week Christmas card is getting in the mail today :-)

I sent out the letter. Had a ridiculously busy week with a 5 year old in the office while trying to get work done. Haha! I went to mail it when I was on errands, but there was one person working in the post and six people waiting. (Of course, I need to see someone about postage to Netherlands.) Will get the card in the mail on Monday for SURE, and then the letter for week 3 on Wednesday. Sorry for the delay! I'll be on time with everything else! Looking forward to receiving the letter from you. :)

My mom is travelling to Florida, USA on the weekend. I'm going to try to have week 6 ready to send with her so she can mail it from there and you can get it faster, and it won't cost me $24. (Seriously, those yellow envelopes 6x9" really cost that much to send to CANADA. Imagine Netherlands!) If that's okay with you, I'll send week 5 on week 6, so it's just switched around. Let me know! :)

Yes, that's USD. Crazy, right? It's forced me to be a bit more creative in my type 2 and 3 swaps. I try to catch someone going to US to mail it for me, but not always possible. Don't worry. I will find some cool things that are light and not too bulky. :)

Kirsty, I was very ill yesterday and didn't make it to the post. I am at work today, but struggling through. I have sever anemia, and my iron seems to be falling rapidly. My partner has to go out on errands tomorrow, so she will put it in the mail for me. I am so sorry I'm sending late.

I got your week 5 today. YAY! I was having a very crappy day, and then awesome mail came and made me happy. I got lots of recipes in the mail today, and I am anxious to share them with you. I already send week 6, but I would love to keep writing to you. Would you be interesting in continuing to write? I hope so! :) I LOVE the stickers you sent. There are so cool and different. I can't wait to get home and spread them out to look at them again. And I would definitely like to do a Type 3 swap with you some time. I found out the post office doesn't tell us about "Surface mail". We have to ask for it specifically. That makes it MUCH cheaper to send. Imagine!
