You can start prepping your journals asap. Its always easier for me to start on a page that has been prepped

Thanks to @Candyn29 for allowing me to borrow this idea!!!!

USA ONLY

I thought we would like to try something a little different here. I hope quiet a few will join this one.

this swap is for those of us who are new to making the journals, but anyone can join.

even if this is your first time, it should be your best work.

minimum pages 30(15 pages, front and back, making 30 pages)

front must be decorated, back is optional.

please , on the first page , have your mini bio: user name, name, age. any non personal info you want to share like home town, your schools attended, favorite things in life ect ect......

pages should be filled

be creative, embellish, use colorful pens, add interestin info, make this the book you would want to receive,

Fill your journal with quotes, recipies clipped from magizines, drawings, doodles, lists of reccomended stuff such as books, movies, internet sites. maps, bussiness cards, appointment cards of what you did and where you went like the dentist. photos of your area, collage a page. list off your cd collaction. you could even add tuck ins, like an atc or a book mark or anything flat that is an extra for your partner

so your book will be a mix of hand written, art, collage and clippings. you may have chunky pages depending on how you choose to embellish your pages, but I would'nt do every page chunky.

this is not a project to do in one night, start working now, this book is about you!!!!

Journals to use:

You can use any store bought journal or composition book that your kids use for school. you can glue some of the pages together to make them stronger since they have 100 pages in them. you could even turn some pages into pockets .

No spiral bound note books!!

You can use spiral bound Art books or sketch books, or hard cover book . As long as it isn't to small .

any questions, post them to the page and pm them to me.

I will go through profiles and ban as i see fit at time swap is over. meaning if you havnt been logging on or just got a bad rating

if you have page ideas that you want to share please post them below

This is for anyone - USA ONLY... Sorry International buddies. If this goes well , I will do an international one next year:)

Here is an example

Cathy sent this to me for this same type of swap! I love it!!!!!! This is just an idea for you all:)

No flaking.

Please fulfill your obligation!!

Profiles well be checked.

I'm actually using a hardcover book for mine.

I may have to cut some pages out , but I think I like the look better ,... We will see:)

Ok .. Not going to use a hard bound book:/. The pages, once glued together, are becoming wrinkled and bubbles when I add liquid to them. Not pretty!!

So, I'm using Spiral bound art book:)( sketch diary)
