You've heard of sticker bags and label bags, let's try ATC bags!

If you already have an established one to pass along from the other swaps, that's great! If not, here's how to start one:

Take a small envie and write your name and address on one side of it. On the other side, write instructions such as "take out two ATCs and add three". Have numbered lines for persons who have participated to sign on. Indicate that the last person to sign should send it home. You can include any other instructions, such as whether or not the ATCs should be made by the swapper or if you accept pass alongs. Put your three (or however many you indicated) ATCs inside the envie. I usually start a new bag with a few extras to give the first recipient more from which to choose. This is your ATC bag.

Put the ATC bag (envie) inside another envie to mail to your swap partner.

You will receive a bag from your other partner. You will select ATCs to keep, and add additional ones to the bag. Hold onto the bag until another swap opportunity. Then you will send it along its way.

I'm very new to swapping, I'm trying to get involved in different swaps. I got the gist of the instructions on the inner envíe, but I'm confused...who sets the amount of atc's per bag and how many lines go on the back to have signed? Are there further instructions pet details once the sign up day closes? I'm sooo sorry I don't want to mess things up:-)

@Cauti92 The owner and creator of the bag sets the number of ATCs per bag, the number for each recipient to remove and replace, and how he/she wants the bag signed. Some folks have the participants sign the bag, and others put a slip inside the bag to be signed.

I'm guessing the original ATCs should be our own?

@beadqueen I have been in several of these atc bag swaps. I have received bags with me being the first to trade and they have some of their own and atcs made by others. But if you don't have any made by others that you are willing to part with, just start a bag with all of them made by you. The more variety the bag has, the more your partners have to trade from. But its up to you really. These atc bag swaps are my favorite swaps on swapbot! Love them!!

An envelope is en route to my partner. Headed to to UAE from the USA. Enjoy!

I have been dreaming of the ATC bag I started last summer! It has not returned home yet and I have moved. My mail will only be forwarded for another three months. If anyone has my ATC bag, I will gladly reimburse your postage to send it home sooner rather than later! Thank you!
