Description: | |
Do you long for a love letter or someone worth writing to? Write a love letter to one partner, and mail it in an envelope. It can be generic, specific, friendly, romantic, steamy, an ode, a sonnet, poetry or prose, but no plagiarizing others. Handwritten would be ideal, but feel free to type it if you know your penmanship skills are poor. Aim for about one page, but that’s not a hard limit. Optional: Embellish to your heart’s content. Lipstick kiss, perfume spritz, teardrop ink run, stickers, hearts, wax seal, etc. Tips, ideas, examples: Write/type a rough draft and proofread before inking the final copy. Google search for "love letter examples." There are LOTS. Write a fictional narrative describing the way you met. Describe adventures you've had together or trips you've taken or will have or will take--like that starry night in the park with the Paris skyline watching over us. Feel free to quote your favorite poets or share your favorite love poem as a part of your letter, with credit to the author. |
