Description:

You'll have one partner and one month to send this swap -- signup closes January 25, with swap to be sent by February 28.

You'll send one envelope to your partner -- with a letter and any other items that you can send to keep the letter to one ounce. If you write a long, multi-page letter, perhaps that'll be all you send. With shorter letters, suggested items are: photos, short (lightweight, lol) newspaper or magazine articles, stickers, postcards, drawings, etc. If you do go over one ounce, that's okay, just be sure to put extra postage on it as needed. One ounce is the minimum and contents sent are sender's choice.

PLEASE NOTE -- There are two versions of this swap -- THIS ONE IS THE INTERNATIONAL version.

Postage cost for this swap = a one ounce letter at overseas rate if your partner is overseas [U.S, domestic rate if you and partner are both in U.S. -- note to U.S. swappers, postage rates increasing January 27, we'll post info on home page]

If you are an international member of this group, please join THIS swap (and not the US-only one)--

NOTE -- If you are a member of this group in USA, you can also join the US version of this swap.

Please post any questions you may have about this swap -- Happy Swapping and let's get those mailboxes filled!

What's a one-oz envie ????

lou 01/21/2013 #

One oz = one ounce = 1/16 of a pound, a very light-weight letter- weight envelope is what you'll be sending. It's fine to go over an ounce, but this swap goes as a sealed mailer (envelope or larger size), not a postcard. Please see suggestions above as to light-weight things you might put in the envelope. It should be something you'd want to receive!
