DON'T BE AFRAID! HAVE FUN!
1 Block print ATC for 1 partner.
Here's hows:
Materials-
Recycled polystyrene tray/ food container
Brayer- roller
Acrylic paint or blockprint ink
Card to print on- larger than ATC size
Newspaper
Piece of glass or large plate for ink/paint
Instructions-
1. Take a recycled polystyrene meat tray or food container and carefully cut out an ATC sized plate- 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches
2. Use an old ballpoint or a stylus to draw your image on the plate- remember it will print in reverse. The implement will score the polystyrene.
3. Roll paint or ink onto glass or a large plate.
4. Then roll over your image.
5. Place the card over the top of the image and rub with your hand.
6. Carefully lift the card and voila! A monoprint.
7. When dry, trim to ATC size.
You can then make heaps of prints for future swaps.
