Details

  • Please decorate the front of the envie. (Decorating the back is optional.) Any mediums welcome, except for stickers only.

  • Inside the envie, please include a note. (It can be on a note card, greeting card, flat card, postcard... Any sort of store-bought card is okay.)

  • Write about something you're feeling thankful/lucky about. Or tell your partner what's the first thing you would do if you found a leprechaun's pot of gold. :)

If you're new to mail art and decorated envelopes, there are many samples on Flickr.

I have pictures of envies I've done in a set: My Swap Bot Mail Art set. It shows a variety of levels of decoration from simple to elaborate.

There is also a sample of what would not be appropriate for this swap. The cupcake envie shown below (bottom right) is stickers only and would not meet this swap's requirements.

Hello Everyone. I am not sure what I am doing but I would like to give it a try. I hope I don't disapoint anyone. Does it matter what size of envie?

Cristin91 02/19/2013 #

Hi, @mrscuddleton any size envelope, as long as it's big enough to go through the US mail. They won't take envelopes smaller than 3.5 x 5 inches.

Thanks so much for the tip. :)
