Description:

We all have a lot of "things in our life" and I know at the end of the day I usually have a pocketful of stuff or random stuff on a table, shelf, cabinet, etc. So why not take some of that stuff (NO TRASH) and send it to our partner.

Send your partner an envelope of stuff from your day, your desk, that sort of thing. Give them a glimpse of your life through stuff... Send a little note about yourself and why you are sending few of the items you are sending. Let them peek into your life...

  1. Get a 6 x 9 envelope (Usually Brown or White) to mail your "stuff" and your note

  2. What you include is senders choice, but please DO NOT send trash. (Trash meaning: Used tissues, gum wrappers with used gum, etc)

  3. Please use your best judgement when sending your items. I figure we are all adults here and know the difference between good stuff to send and just plain trash.

  4. Send 10 items or more. (Remember a lot of this will be flat items, so it shouldn't be too expensive to ship.)

Some examples of what you could send are:

  • Junk postcard advertisements you get in the mail
  • A receipt for an item you purchased that you really like
  • A notecard you got in the mail that you are just going to toss
  • Bits and pieces of stuff from a craft project you are working on

  • Your options are endless (IF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS, PLEASE COMMENT BELOW)

All items must be of good nature. No torn items. No dirty items.

I can't control who smokes and who doesn't. So if you get an item that smells of cigarette smoke, there's nothing I can do about it.

Please don't flake on this. This is a simple swap that isn't expensive to put together or to ship. This is great for those just starting out or those who are on a small budget.

I will go through the list before assigning partners and remove people at my own discretion

Good Items To Swap (Correct me if I am wrong): Scrap paper left over from a project (In useable size), Stickers, Post Cards, Ephemera, Scrapbook paper pieces/sheets, Chip board, Die cuts, Brads, Eyelets, Beads, Tea (with a description), Coffee (with a description), Pens, Pins, Flyers, Posters, Embellishments of all kinds, Buttons, Keys, Cards, Unused Napkins with Logos of Restaurants local to you, Seriously the possibilities are endless!!!!

If any of these things aren't okay to send let me know, as I am new to this! =)

@MyHeartBelongsToSnailMail - No we are not swapping scrapbooking things. We are sending things that give someone a glimpse into your life. Like last round, I got a bus map, a travel pamphlet, tea and a few other things... Things that maybe found their way into someones pockets or purse.

Oh Thank you so much...I am glad you let me know before I started packing an envelope full of not okay items to send! eeek, that would have been embarrassing lol. Thank you for clearing that up for me... I (personally) think that makes the swap better, I would much rather get an idea of your day than things you buy. I am super excited to receive the items you described! To be super clear: Postcards from where I visited that day okay? Clean napkins from restaurant okay? Business cards okay? Thank you so much for your time and understanding! =) And of course thank you for hosting!! =)

@MyHeartBelongsToSnailMail - Yes postcards are good, clean napkins, business cards also okay. As long as they are a place you visited in a day or 2 of the swap.
