Description:

Hello all! My wonderful Grandma (we all call her Jojo) has a birthday April 2nd, and I want to give her a card shower! She adores seeing my mail from SwapBot, and seeing letters from my snail mail pals, and I thought it would just be a blast if for once SHE could get some happy mail too! She's such a giving person, always doing something for others and not expecting anything in return. Jojo loves gardening, and watching her birds, as well as cooking. She has really brightened up my life, and I'm so blessed to have her as a grandma!

So can you help me brighten up her day? This is a very easy swap, and I'll accept beginners (this will help get your ratings up!) All you have to do, is send either a Happy Birthday card or a post card to Jojo, and another postcard (or a nice Easter card or 1 page letter) to your other partner. It is simple and easy! This is not required, but if you would like you can send along your favorite recipe, (as Jojo loves cooking) or stickers.

If you send a postcard, please say 'Happy Birthday' on the back and at least a little message.

PLEASE remember to include the swap name, and your SwapBot name to the other recipient.

If you do not want to participate, but would like to help brighten my grandma's birthday, you can send a postcard or birthday card here. And thanks! ^_^

This is an International swap. If you have any questions, please contact me! If your partner follows the rules, they deserve a five. Please rate fairly! Thank you all!

Hearts are up to the recipient - they're not "deserved" for anything in particular.

You have this set up as a swap with 2 partners. That means your participants would need to send 3 cards, 1 to your grandmother and 1 to each of 2 partners.

Also, you yourself would only be rating the two participants assigned to you. The people rating the other senders would have no way of knowing what your grandmother received. Hearts are completely up the recipient and not something earned by giving stickers and recipes.

Happy Birthday to your grandma, though.

Hi all, thanks for the lovely comments! pne - I just meant that if someone has obviously put extra effort into a letter or such, that the recipient should remember to rate fairly.

Cristina - Ahh! Thanks for that, this is my first swap that I've set up. I'll change it to one partner than, thanks so much. :)

This is a wonderful swap. I did a card shower for my mother for her 80th birthday, and she is still getting cards and mail from some of the people who sent her cards. One is from a person in England and one is from a girl who was a student and has now graduated and still sends my mom photos and letters letting her know how she's doing.
