I have a good bit if $4.95 items in my Etsy Faves. It will be fine with me to receive these items , although they are not exactly $5 . Would this be ok with you @notme78

Preferable $5. But as long as it's not lower than 4.95 it's ok.

Just wondering as I'm still really new to the site (pardon my ignorance), but do we send the item directly from the Etsy seller to our partner? Or should we have it delivered to ourself first so we can send with a note and dress it up, etc?

You ask the seller to send the item(s) directly to your partner, and ask seller to include a note

I would love to join but do not have pay pal.. I could only purchase through shops that accept credit cards and not all do.... I hope to see or possibly remake this swap in the future to mention having both to choose form, maybe (although you cant usually see that until you go to check out)

There are sellers who accept both paypal, and also credit cards. It just got to check out which ones who does. Point of the swap is to send something from your partner etsy fave. So if you get an partner, just find an item on their fave, that accepts credit cards.

What if our partner doesn't have anything listed at $5? There's one item for $4.99 and everything else is either too far below or too far above for this swap.

If a person got items like $2 and $3, then you can purchase two items, so it adds up to $5, like 3+2= 5 or two items worth 3 each = 6.
If an item costs 4.99 then it's okay, but no lower than that.

Most sellers accept both Paypal or CC.
