NPCW National Postcard Week 2013 #1
Swap Coordinator:fawnscrafts (contact)
Swap categories: Postcards
Number of people in swap:7
Location:International
Type:Type 2: Flat mail
Last day to signup/drop:May 4, 2013
Date items must be sent by:May 11, 2013
Number of swap partners:8
Description:

Per request by the majority that joined this swap. I have changed this swap to 8 partners, and deleted the other swaps.

If you signed up thinking you only have 2 partners and need help fulfilling your allotted names, PM me and I will help you out

.I am doing a few of these, so the partner part is not heavy on any one person. That way if someone wants to have 6-8 partners that can join all of my swaps if they want 2 partners that can join one of them. Or they can join as many as they wish.

NPCW National Postcard Week is the week of May 5 - 11, 2013.

I did not realize the dates were so close.

This swap is going to be open to all. And it will be one of three I want to host. I would love to share about 20 of the cards I have for the NPCW swaps, so I am going to have to add the partners or make a few swaps.

The cards must be postmarked between May 5-11, 2013.

You must also have the letters NPCW and the above dates on the card somewhere, along with the written out words National Postcard Week. Besides the swap name part.

If you are using a bought card, you can write these anywhere, the front or back, The purpose for the swap is to announce the week, not so much share a scenery, or touristy photo, so write over the scenes or cat or tiger or whatever your store bought card is, if you wish. The card can be one that is made special for the NPCW or any postcard, handmade, e sites, and so forth. (If handmade they must be something nice, not an index or a blank postcard paper with a sticker and the letters NPCW, you must put some work in this.)

There is a lot of international interest in these swaps, so this one is open to international users.

OK I know I get confusing so to sum up the rules:

  1. Card must be postmarked on the dates of and between the dates of, May 5 - 11, 2013. (Please get a hand cancel if possible)

  2. Two (2) partners for this swap.

  3. The words National Postcard Week and the dates May 5-11, 2013 and the initials NPCW has to be on the card somewhere, beside the title of the swap.

  4. Have fun, and if you want to join more swaps for this, join all you can. I want to have several partners, so I can get several cards for the year.

I did not know that the NPCW was so soon, when I checked, I thought it was the second week and not the first one of the Month. This is why it is so unorganized on these swaps.

Ok all, I did as requested by the majority and made this into one swap with 8 partners. Note the first 2 paragraphs.

I hope all of you enjoy this years NPCW!

I got my cards ready, as soon as we get partners. I made 6 and looks like we only have 7 player so one card to each person, and of course I dont send one to me.

Are partners going to be assigned??

fawnscrafts 05/ 6/2013 #

Partners are assigned, as yesterday we could not send, I forgot to assign them.

Thank you fawnscrafts for this postcard swap. I used to participate in NPW swaps years ago & I'm glad to be involved in NPW again. I've filled out all my postcards for all my partners for this swap, however, I have smaller "Greetings from Florida" touristy postcards I could send as 2nd send for NPW if any want, need an extra postcard - PM. Will send NPW week only!
