Description:

Artfully Scarved, Behatted and Bejeweled is a group dedicated to having fun with accessories in traditional and not-so-traditional ways!

In this public swap, designed as a group promotion (but open to everyone with recent activity, five type 3 swaps completed and great ratings), you will design and create, remake, or find one accessory that fits a description of an activity listed by your partner in the comments section.

For example, if your partner listed three possible activities and one of them were "bungee jumping," you could create, remake or find a bracelet made out of a bungee cord. If one of them were "watching the TT races," you could create, remake or find a scarf that resembles a racing flag, or featuring motorcycles. If the third one were "disco dancing", you might create, remake, or find a necklace that had a mini disco ball on it.

One accessory (a pair of earrings, a fascinator, a necklace, a bracelet, a scarf, a hat, a pin, etc.), suitable for one of the three possible activities that your partner lists below.

I will angel all my swaps. I do go through profiles. If you don't meet all qualifications I'd be happy to consider a private swap. Perfection is never expected, but "best effort" is; I am not the world's most perfect artist, either :)

... And check out the group, if you are interested: ASBB :)

My three activities:

*watching flamingos!

*dipping my feet in a cold cold lake with smooth stones underfoot ...

*walking to the mailbox to post a postcard :)

I can't wait to see what this group comes up with for activities! I think that the image above is an Accessory to Watching a Circus Featuring Painted Zebras, but I am not sure. Your thoughts?

Hi there, this is my first time in a swap like this. I'm excited! My three activities are;

  • Widing the train to work for an hour watching the rice paddies fly by outside my window.
  • Wandering a new shrine or temple I've stumbled upon.
  • Shopping in Tokyo

I agree with the painted zebras, makes me think of the movie racing stripes where a zebra dreams of becoming a race horse!

And of course I misspelled something, ugh. Riding the train, not winding, they are not wind up trains haha.

So glad that you decide to join in! I am trying to visualize shopping in Tokyo and all I can imagine is busy-ness and walls of glass and steel (but I have never been to Tokyo and would have a lot to research)! What an interesting blog, I enjoyed the photo of the rice paddies :)

My three activities: - going to an art gallery to see a PreRaphaelite or Art Nouveau exhibition - going to the Natural History Museum to see the dinosaurs and fossils - being a steampunk lady! I hope that gives you something to go at! :)

Hoi hoi!

Here are my three activity : * Walking around in the nature and observe animals / delivering the mail in the village and cross all kind of crazy kats, dogs, or even salamander! * Climbing on my aerial silk to have my adrenaline dosage ^^ * Knitting stupid hats in a chape of animals

I wish I could try to make those accessories, Schpouik! That would be a fun challenge. Unfortunately, you have not yet had 5 Type 3 swaps. Feel free to contact me about a private swap :)
