Description:

I like haikus. They are fun, easy, and creative. I participated in a swap like this a few years ago and enjoyed it a lot. So I thought let's do it again.

First, let's define a haiku: A major form of Japanese verse, written in 17 syllables divided into 3 lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables, and employing highly evocative allusions and comparisons

Example: Haikus are awesome Let's try and keep postage cheap One stamp makes a smile!

So, write three haikus, any topic, on a piece of paper. You can make a book, ATC, a notecard, post card, or just scribble it on a sheet of notebook paper. However you want to do it, as long as it's sent snail mail with one stamp. You will have two partners to send to.

Hi,

Since there's no mail on Monday the 27th, is there any chance the deadline could be made Tuesday? Thank you! Eric

You know what, I forgot about the holiday completely! I'll absolutely change that. Thanks for bringing it up.

Such a clever idea! I'm gonna stick the ones I get into my smashbook! Thanks for hosting.

Maybe a silly question, but what exactly is a smashbook & how is it made? (I'm super new to the swap thing!)

I absolutely enjoyed this! My partners' creativity was great! Would you consider doing this again or on a regular basis? Thanks!
