Release the Artist within

Do you yearn to paint, draw or create?

I do and I have a wooden box full of art supplies but I fear that blank piece of paper. I need a kick up the bottom to motivate me so I am creating a swap.

This swap is a safe place to share your work and maybe make a new friend to inspire and encourage you.

The swap is simple, you get your art supplies out and you create! No judging yourself, don't listen to your inner critic and create with all the joy you had when you were a child. Draw a picture, paint a portrait or a landscape, Zentangle, create a mixed media journal page, design a mini masterpiece and turn it into an ATC. Whatever will make you happy. You could take inspiration from your partners profile or your personal favourite subject

The only requirement is that you spend some time on the gift for your partner. There is no spending limit but I am putting a half hour time minimum. You have to put some time, love and attention into your swap.

Please don't forget to include a note about your creation. It could be just a simple one page note or a long letter telling your partner all about you, your artistic streak and your journey to where you are now.

It doesn't matter if you don't feel like an Artist yet, All that matters is that you have fun and share the beauty that is your inner Artist!!

It isn't essential or part of the swap but it would be nice if you could acknowledge and encourage your partner especially if they are new to all this.
