Mini Handmade Art Journal #2

How will other people be accomodated? If established journals are being swapped, the new people would just add to our journals without making their own? Just curious. :)

What is intended on the list page? Is it like an index of recievers/senders? Does one full page mean both sides of an open book page or just one leaf (side)? When we send on do we get more than 3 days to creAte our art masterpieces on the next fellows book page? Am full of questions sorry.

I have edited the date to send by to July 31st due to requests from swappers!

@Star7Lily The list can be about anything. It is just to help get the juices flowing for an art journal page. On full spread means 2 pages side by side. Hope this helps

@xSammyWalshx no, this is for the next swap which you will receive a new book for. The book you just received you are supposed to include a magazine cut out in your spread. You will be sending the book you just received to the partner assigned to you for this swap.

Ahh okay, I think I get it. So the inspiration that was in the first swap is what we will be using to create the artwork, but it will go to the partner assigned to this swap and has this deadline. xxxx

I so want to do this swap but don't have the time to do a good job before cut off. I will look forward to signing up for the next one.

Partners may be a little late being assigned. I have a person that wants to drop out that has already done the first swap. Until I have heard back from all people involved I can't assign partners. Fingers crossed I hear back soon!

I got the same partner who sent me the book to begin with....the original owner. Perhaps I can swap with someone else....

Love this ideas but traveling journals hardly ever get sent ack to original person, but I am going to try again. Nice idea too. Btw, you can use a 5 x7 or smaller bought journal, like from an art store?

Your comment makes me sad...I hope you have better luck with this group. I for one am counting on this group following through and being respectful of each others artwork.

For those concerned about your journal not getting back to you, perhaps on the last page with your return address you could add your email address with a request that the artist scan and email you a pic of their art so if your book gets lost, you at least get to see what was in it!

Can I use a 5x7.7 journal ?

I'm not sure I understand, I have received a journal that I am supposed to fill out, utilizing a list & send to my partner, but I am new to this swap & I need to make a journal of my own & send it to my partner, also? Or do I fill out the journal I received with the list prompt & wait until the next round to send it out & send out the journal I've made in this round?

@samsstuff if i have everything correct: if this is your first round, you will make a journal and send it off to your partner. on the journal you received this round, you should decorate it (with a list) and when you join the next round, that is the journal you send to your next partner.

Could the person who has drawn my name "Amberlight" as their partner for this round "Mini Handmade Art Journal #2, be so kind as to let me know when you mailed the journal, as to date, I have not received it. : )

@amberlight I will pm you with info on how to find that person, but also remember the send date isn't until today so your partner may not have even mailed it yet.
