Is kraft/craft paper just the brown paper that comes on rolls?

Is paper bags Ok?

I know this is your swap and all, however three international partners can bring postal costs up. If we in the USA have to pay $1.10 per envelope, others will be paying much more.

Have you considered making it a one partner swap, or could you make a swap with one partner please?

It is your swap of course and if you do not want to start one with one partner, do you mind if I do please?

user2637, kraft paper can come on rolls or sheets. Mine comes on a roll.

I agree, international postage is horrendous. I had two international mail art swaps early on that I had added a couple of extras in as I always do for all my swaps, and they ended up costing an arm and a leg.

Also - it might be a good idea to be a bit more specific about what constitutes mail art, because some people may think letting their kids doodle on an envelope is mail art, while some of us actually spend a lot of time/effort on mail art.

sunshinegirl76, this kind of mailart swap is for beginners also. So you shouldn't expect to receive a masterpiece from a craft mail art goddess. There are way too much USA only swaps you can join.

I can live with the postage costs, even though sending from Finland to the US, which I often have to do, costs quite a lot (usually more than it does from the US to Finland..). Also, well said about the artistic aspect of the envelope! I think everyone should be able to join, and it would in fact be a nice change to get a crayon doodle envelope instead of the typical "I glued some fake stamps and store bought ephemera on this so it's mail art" stuff. Celebrate the diversity!
