Send 5 handmade envelopes each to 2 partners!

You can use magazin pages, wrapping paper, scrapbooking paper, posters, anything really that makes for a colorful, beautiful and/or interesting envelope. Be creative!

Envelopes should have a normal posting size, anything between roughly 9x14 cm and 13x20 cm is fine.

You can design the envelope yourself, take apart a store-bought envelope and use it as a template or you can find templates on the web (e.g. here http://pinterest.com/justcra/envelope-templates/).

The swap is open to Newbies with a well-filled out profile. No unexplained 1s or 3s please.

I usually use a store-bought envelope as a template and then use whatever pretty paper I have around. If you use a large picture from a magazine or poster you should pay attention to what part of the picture is on the front of the envelope and that it's not upside-down (happened to me once)! Any other ideas?

This swap sounds like a lot of fun! I love home made envelopes. Should they be decorated, except for the fun paper they are made of I mean, like with washi or several layers or paper, or should I send them "plain and clean"?

They don't need to be decorated, plain and clean is fine
