Send one postcard to your partner which depicts a lighthouse.

These are fabulous creations which represent safety, waterways and whimsey.

  • Quote from "History of Lighthouse" by Ryanne "Lighthouses warn sailors to straighten their position so they don't hit land. They are built on harbors, islands, and beaches. They act as guideposts for ships at night or in a storm. The first lighthouse in England was the Eddystone Rock Lighthouse built on a steep rock in 1698. Since then three more have been built on that location. The first lighthouse in America was the Boston Lighthouse on Brewser Island in Boston Harbor. The lighthouse was first lit in 1716, but was destroyed during the Revolutionary War."

Send the postcard naked and stamped. We want the post carrier to enjoy the view too!

Good ratings only. No unresolved 1's or 3's.

aw I really need to find some lighthouse PCs so I can join in on these. I've yet to come across any around here though I'll have to keep an eye out for them.

I got a book from Amazon, but not the area I thought. Still, they're lighthouses.
