Each partner will send an envelope 8 1/2 x 11 filled with genuine/authentic vintage ephemera (1960s or earlier; no reproductions/internet print-outs etc), including any combination of the following non-exhaustive list:

• book(s) and/or book pages
• magazine(s) and/or magazine pages (eg Life, National Geographic, Look, BHG, Family Circle, Southern Living etc)
• booklets/pamphlets
• travel ephemera
• stationary/note cards
• postcards (used or unused)
• postage stamps (used and/or unused)
• lotto cards
• advertising (
• notions (trim, velvet, rick-rack, ribbon etc)
• buttons and button cards
• photographs
• German scrap images
• etchings, color plates, chromolithographs
• hankies
• fabric (at least a 6" square)

Items should not have any strong smells like smoke, mold, mildew, mothballs etc (although the customary "old book", vintage, musty smells are obviously ok).

Items must also not have any signs of rot or bug infestation; foxing is ok. No major water damage. Items must be easily re-usable; any minor damage may only be on items where their intrinsic beauty or interest clearly outweighs damage (eg Victorian scraps etc)

Carefully and tastefully hand-made items using vintage ephemera (ATCs, journal pages, altered journals etc) may also be included at the sender's discretion.

Check profiles for dislikes.
