Description:

Christmas is here soon! Or not. But December 1st isn't -that- far away (it never is!), and November and December are both busy and expensive, so having advent calendars ready is a good feeling, even when it's still months away =) And of course you are allowed to open your presents at any time you want, so if you are the type of person that just can't wait, you don't have to ;P

You will have 4 partners and send 6 gifts to each of them. This way you will have a gift to open every day until Christmas, from 4 different places in the world!

The wrapped presents has to have some kind of ribbon or something like that on them so they are possible to hang somewhere, either a big loop (that you can fit your hand trough) or two loose ends. By possible to hang I also mean that they won't fall out of their ribbon or what you have chosen to use at any time during December! If an item weighs more than a postcard in an envelope it's just not good enough to tape a 4 inch piece of ribbon to it, the ribbon has to go around it, in both directions. And please remember that the loops you end up with when you tie your shoes are not possible to hang something with, they just slide off.

You also need to think about the fact that this is something that is probably going to hang in someones living area for quite a long time, so please make it as pretty as you can. You are NOT allowed to use envelopes to wrap this swap, but feel free to use properly sized bags, foil, news paper, tissue and so on =)

New of the year is also that you are required to mark all the gifts with what swap it is and who it is from. This does not have to be a big operation with hand made gift tags and such (unless you really want to), just write with a marker on the tape you used to wrap the gift with or something like that =)

The value of the gifts for this swap should be about 1$US per gift, some can be less and others more, but the total sum to spend on each partner is at least 6$. Do NOT send edibles or other stuff that might melt or go bad anytime soon.

This is a newbie friendly version of this swap and it's open to anyone that has more than 40 completed and rated swaps. 10 of those 40 has to be Type 3. If you don't meet these requirements I suggest you wait for the next one! There will be more =) You also need a profile that is filled out with a long likes/wish list. This is what I call a "profile based senders choice swap", which means that everyone uses their brain and love for both Christmas, gifts and swapping when picking out stuff to send. I believe everyone wants to send something their partners will appreciate, and if you don't (and I think I speak for everyone here when saying this) you can stay away from Swap-bot in general. Remember that people can come back in December and change their ratings when the gifts are opened. But you are required to rate with a 5 as soon as you get your gifts in the mail, no matter when you are planning to open them!

I am a newbie but I don´t have 40 completed swaps...? I think no newbie has 40 completed swaps... Can I join or not? Would love too...

Same for me swapowl! Maybe we could do our own private swap.....but I don't think we can set it up because we're newbies...lol 😜

Then how is this swap "Newbie friendly". Seems like anyone with 40 completed swaps is no longer a newbie?????? JMO.

It is "newbie friendly" in that the usual requirement is 75 swaps and 25 type 3.
