My best friend(s)!

There's a lovely swap going on about being in love, and it got me thinking... it'd be great if there was a swap about platonic love. Hearing about friends gets me all happy and nostalgic. I hope we can spread a little joy!

For this swap, you will write about one of your closest friends... let's say a page and a half of A4, though longer is definitely welcome. You can also write about more than one friend, but just make sure the length is adjusted so there is a substantial amount about each of them.

Possible topics: how and when you met, what they're like, what you enjoy doing together, why they're special to you, memories you share, how platonic love differs from romantic love (for you personally, not necessarily according to society), and so on.
