This is a monthly INTERNATIONAL swap.

Here are the rules:

For this swap, you will send AT LEAST 5 goodies to your partner, in no smaller than an A5 (6x9) envelope.

The idea of a blind surprise is to select and wrap each item individually BEFORE your partner is assigned. For this swap, anything goes...

BUT please only send in the condition you would like to receive.. DO NOT send any dirty or broken items. Items should be as good as new/ new.

Approximate spend: £5 / 5.91 Euros / 7.58 US dollars excluding postage.

This swap is a flake free zone. If you cannot afford to send items to this value, or you do not have the time to, please do not join.

No recent 1s or 3s. I will be checking profiles.

Only well filled out profiles. If you have an empty or brief profile, you will be removed.

Examples of goodies to send:

Small souvenirs from your country

Pens

Chocolate

Snacks

Note cards

Fridge Magnets

Washi Tape

Sticker sheets

Postcards (4= 1 item)

...The list is endless!!

If you receive something you do not use, save it for another swap. Simple :)

PLEASE REMEMBER TO WRAP YOUR SURPRISES.

I check all profiles, and remove as required immediately prior to assigning partners.

I live in USA, and this says it is an International swap...can I join?

CraftyCloud 09/13/2013 #

@Alyak Everybody can join

snailmailer1 09/13/2013 #

@Alyak sure :)

Hereiam1907 09/14/2013 #

What will i do?

snailmailer1 09/14/2013 #

@Hereiam1907 - please fill out your profile more. E.g. add your likes, dislikes. Take a look at others' profile to get an idea what you could include.

This goes for everyone joining this swap. PLEASE ensure you have well-filled out profile before partners are assigned on 24th September.

I'm all for everyone having well-filled out profiles, but what difference does it make with this particular swap since we are supposed to be wrapping our gifts before we see who our partner is? (Just saying...)

snailmailer1 09/17/2013 #

@Starwatcher - I started doing this swap back in April. It attracted a lot of 'new' members. I found that people were signing up, leaving their profiles empty and flaking. Plus, an empty profile draws suspicion to other swappers. I don't put many limits on this swap, but the more I learn about the patterns of flakers, the more I will amend. When I am having to spend my own money on angeling this swap, I will be careful about who can join.

Wrapped mine up already lol, this is a great swap

FreakyToast 09/20/2013 #

Hi! @snailmailer1 I hope my profile is okay for the swap? First time swapping through swap-box, but have done a lot of times before ;)

fawnscrafts 09/22/2013 #

Can they be hand made, like crocheted or knitted?

How about ATC's are those allowed in this one?

Tea bags?

snailmailer1 09/24/2013 #

Time to start swapping people. 17 people have unfortunately had to be removed with explanations given as to why. Please let's make this a FLAKE FREE zone!! Happy swapping :)

snailmailer1 09/24/2013 #

@fawnscraft - you always ask questions in this swap, but never join. Just an observation.

snailmailer1 09/24/2013 #

Since I have received emails from some of those I have removed from the swap. Just so we're all clear, newbies are allowed here, but please have a well filled out profile. One paragraph does not a well filled out profile make!

how do I put that I have mailed my package?
