EDITED:

Okay, here it is - the 12 days of xmas small gift/stocking stuffer swap! This is a swap that will cost you up to $30 total: $6-13 to mail and another $15- 20 to make/buy.

Details:

  • US only, by invite only, total of 6-8 swappers. Please make sure you have enough details on your profile to allow a sender to pick out a bunch of small items you would enjoy!

  • 1 partner to send to

  • 12 small gifts/stocking stuffers - they can be handmade or storebought; please send both a few handmade as well as storebought items. Handmade can by made by you or others so Etsy items or craft fair items are fine.

  • Each item should be an item you'd be delighted to receive, approx value $0.50-$5 for each item

  • At least one item should be a seasonal sweet - candy, gum, chocolate, please check profiles for dislikes or allergies and this food item should be storebought and individually wrapped. Up to 3 items may be food related.

  • Each item should be wrapped in seasonal paper/tissue paper but bows are not needed. If you wish to put a flat ribbon on, that's lovely but not required.

  • Please number the gifts from 1-12. We're gonna cheat, traditionally the 12 days of Xmas are the 12 days starting Xmas Day til the Jan 6, but you may choose when you wish to open the gifts - 12 days before Xmas, all at once on Xmas eve or morn, or the 12 traditional days of Xmas. Please rate promptly though!

  • Semi senders choice - check profiles for dislikes or allergies but otherwise, send items you know you and your recipient would enjoy

  • Please do not send anything religious - generic holiday themes for all items, cards, giftwrap: penguins, polar bears, trees, candy canes, snowflakes, presents, stockings, etc.

  • This swap must be mailed in either a US Flat Rate box - small or medium, or a similar, hardsized cardboard box - NO bubble envies to prevent breakage or squished items - that is always such a bummer:(. Please pack everything securely. Flat rate boxes are ($5.80 for small and $12.35 for medium). And yes, 12 items will fit in a small flat rate box:)

  • Enclose a holiday card from you to your sender

  • Ideas for items - think stocking stuffers!

  • 1 item must be a seasonal sweet, up to 3 items may be sweets per the above requirements
  • at least 1 item must be handmade (by you or someone else)
  • at least 1 item must be storebought
  • send mostly items that are finished - ready to use/wear/enjoy/admire - up to 3 items may be supplies if you think your recipient would truly enjoy receiving them
  • no dollar store items
  • sample or trial sizes welcome
  • no more than 3 not-useful-but-gorgeously-crafty-seasonal works of flat art (mini paintings, magnets, matchbox shrines, atcs, inchies, twinchies, etc) made by you
  • 12 different items, sets of notecards/pcs/recipe cards/atcs count as 1 item.

  • Ideas?

  • Personalized ornament/magnet/keyring; seasonal candies/chocates/tin of mints, hot drinks/tea bags (2-3), beaded jewelry/other jewelry/pins/earrings/bracelets; felties/stuffies/dotees/amis; needlebooks/pinchusion; gloves/scarves/fingerless gloves/wrist warmers; perfume/soap/lipbalm/hand lotions/hand sanitizers/; sox/fuzzy sox; manicure kit; altered or new pens/pencils; change purse/coin purse/penny pockets; bookmarks/bookthongs; matchbox shrine; stationery for the recipients use (handmade or storebought notecards, letter sets, blank recipe cards, new postcards - 2-3); oven mitts/hotpads/kitchen towels/placemats/napkins/aprons; a book/recipe book/booklet; mini smash book/chunky book you made for them; mini picture frames; cheap etsy fav, small gift cards; mugs/plates/kitchen wares; fillet sachets/pomanders/scented drawer items; small candles/tin candles; etc, etc.

Lots of ideas! Hopefully I've covered everything. The send by date is designed to get everything to your recipient in time for the holidays. Please pm me with questions.
