This is the second of a bi-monthly series of self portraits. In this ATC swap you will do your self portrait in Shag (Josh Agle) style. Please use any medium that requires art from you for this swap. No major sticker usage. Nothing that takes under 10 minutes. Please make a portrait you would love to have. Since these are self-portraits, the swap cannot be angeled and therefore you must have a 4.95 or better and no partial/no sends in the last 9 months. No newbies, sorry but I had to angel for a newbies' partners in a recent swap of mine and I want everyone to get a card (I can't do their self-portraits either). July -- Shag Sept -- ? Nov -- ? Standard Size 2 1/2" X 3 1/2". One card to one partner. International Swap. I think you should be appreciative for hard work, so don't sign up if you flake on leaving refs - it's just as bad as receiving and not sending out. Due date is July 31. I hope we get a lot of wonderful artists sign up! LOL what a cool idea. Shag is the man! He just recently opened a show here in melbourne. I've been a fan for years :)

Me too! He's great I was born in the early 60's and I like that late 50's early 60's tiki feel. The one before this was Picasso. I am trying to do modern self-portraits. If you or anyone else here has some suggestions - fire away!

I don't know what else you have done in the past besides Picasso but how about Monet?

We did a similar project in college: Create a self-portrait in the style of your favorite artist. Some of the artists done were Warhol, Frida Kahlo, Edvard Munch, Van Gogh, and Keith Haring... I'm sure there were more, but I can't remember them right now. Just thought these might give you some ideas.
